Shepherding

Hi guys!
Just thought I would share about what God's been working in me recently :)
You may already have guessed from the title...shepherding!
Yeh, I used to help folk and talk to folk to try and sort them out back when I was at school but I kinda drifted off it a bit. Well God has been moving in me to do this and has been giving me opportunities to do it aswell. I've been successful in sorting out at least one person :) Atleast I think she's back on track...well she is at this particular moment just pray for it to stay that way please!! She really wants it!!
But anyway, just thought I would share that :)
Oh and by the way, my parents have calmed down a bit now...but I've got to go to work tomorrow to find out what's happening. Wish me luck!
I'll be at 24 hour worship too :)
bye folks!

Work! Or lack thereof...

Lol, just thought that I would post about this. Got nothing much else to talk about anyway, and I should be in Northampton right now...but whatever.
Right, yesterday I had to go and see the manager of Tesco (didn't know why) had to wait half an hour in the canteen but nevermind. Anyway, turns out I'm being suspended from work. All I did was to put clubcard points on my own card if the customer didn't have a card. Well obviously someone did have a card but didnt say so (I even asked if they had one) and came to put points and "Oh my gosh!" someone else already used them.
Apparently this counts as "Gross Misconduct" and I'm being suspended (paid) from work while they investigate. Dunno what they're investigating cuz I told them that I did it... but still.
Surely there's something more exciting going on than them wasting their time with clubcard points...and apparently its REALLY bad (hence the term "gross" misconduct). Well no-one told me that.
Well consequently, I left work 2 hours early and I was laughing at the sheer stupidity of it all. Then I got back to my house and explained to my dad...he had no particular reaction apart from implying that I'm stupid...and he said "I presume you're expecting to go out this evening" (to White Stone.) "Well yeh, I was hoping to..."
"No you aint!"
and that was that...
then my mum came in an hour later (an hour early) and was crying (nothing new) and yeh blah blah blah. The srange thing is that my mum was gonna take me to White Stone still, but my dad said no and that was the end of that discussion.
So here I am...I've been tidying my room and listening to music for the past...8 or 9 hours? and I'm fed up.
Annoyingly, I probably won't be at work for the first wednesday for ages...but probably won't be able to go to cell group. That's just rude!!!
on the plus side... ... ... I can't think of anything...
Well I'm sure there is a plus side, just dunno what it is at the moment.
Nevermind eh?
cya all soon! (I hope!!!)

the good the bad and the plain silly

well...the good! I was at White Stone (on tuesday) and there was hardly anyone there so it was suggested that I go to the prayer shed. So I did :) one of the things I prayed for was to be able to get through to my parents.
When I got back to my house I was talking ot my mum about some things that were happening at the JA in the first few months...and we eventually got round to I am now allowed to be at White Stone every weekend!! How great is that!!! :)
Now for the bad...
erm...can't really think of anything...I work at Tesco? It's insanely boring and the till's are broken. I had to listen to 1 beeping away for 3 and a half hours cuz it didn't work properly...it got a bit annoying...but nevermind...
and the plain silly. Well, I got a letter a few days ago from the amazing and worderful!!.....wait for it....Electoral Register (now there's false hope). Oh yes, the joy that filled my mind at that moment was erm...indescribable! I opened it up...the first word was "CONGRATULATIONS". I read on. "You just got a free piece of white paper with useless pap on!"
ok it actually said (I use the word "pap" for a reason :) ) "you may be eligible to vote for the first time at the next Local Election."
Now to me this isn't really something to celebrate. If it had said "CONGRATULATIONS Jesus died for you and you can go to heaven!" Then I would have been slightly more excited...but alas... just another form to fill in...Oh well
