Welcome...To The Real World...

Recently I've been thinking about 'The Matrix' and how it's relating to christianity. Then, on Thursday, the person doing grace time started talking about it aswell so I thought I would post about it. For those who don't know, The Matrix is a film about how the human race has been enslaved by A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) although most don't know about it and they are all living in a dream world (because the machines need to feed off them for energy, although that isn't important). All the people in the dream world are just going about their daily lives because they just don't know about it. But, there are a few people who go into this dream world (dream world is called the matrix) and try to bring people out.
This is exactly like Christianity! (well ok there are a few different things) The people in the world just go about their daily lives without know about God and then Christians go into the world and evangelise and tell people about God and he wonderful he is and how he can save you from anything and can do anything and it's like "WOW!!!!!" and they realise they've been missing so much about life. Then they are taken out of the matrix and (in the second film "The Matrix:Reloaded") They go and live in Zion! So do we!! Then in the third film, Neo (Jesus) fights against sin (Smith) and sacrifices himself in order to break sin. (ok so he uses the world to do it in the film) but it is just awesome and God is just so incomprehensible and it's great!!
So there we go.

Unfortunately I can't use it to explain to my parents as they don't have a clue about the matrix and it's too confusing. Typical.
